(Inspired by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras)
This approach comes from the yogic tradition, which teaches that true insight arises when we hold our focus steady, let go into deep meditation, and finally experience unity with what we contemplate.
# How to Practice:
## 1. Choose an object for contemplation.
This could be anything young want deeper insight into.
## 2. Dharana (Focus):
Sit quietly and bring your full attention to your chosen object. Notice the details, repeat it inwardly, let your mind become steady and still.
## 3. Dhyana (Meditation):
Allow your awareness to rest gently on the object without effort. You’re not thinking about it, you’re simply present with it, like being in the presence of an old friend.
## 4. Samadhi (Absorption):
In time, you may notice the sense of separation dissolving. You and the object are not two, but one field of awareness.
## 5. Integration:
Afterward, journal what you experienced, or simply sit with the feelings and insights that arose.
